I’ve been exploring my local park and writing about it for a few years now, and now I’m working with artist Wendy Reed on a collaborative arts project sponsored by The Friends of Gallagher Park.
In January 2023 we will be running workshops for members of the public to explore Gallagher Park using both the written word and visual art techniques.
The aim of the project is to encourage people to engage with the park in a more intimate was – exploring the sounds, textures and colours of the park and reacting to the emotions these features evoke in themselves.
