Do you write? Sometimes? Often? Never – but you ‘d love to have a go?
Do you sometimes get stuck? Your ideas start to look a bit stale, and you’re not sure how to unlock your creativity?
Do you love your special writing time, just you and the pen and the paper – or the keyboard and the screen – but sometimes you think it might be good to connect with other people who write?
If any of those people is you, you’ve come to the right place. I’m running a series of three workshops this November at the lovely Creative Chicken craft space on Front Street East in Bedlington. They’ll be gentle and kind, and they’ll spark your imagination too. There’ll be ideas to explore, techniques to have fun with and like-minded people to meet, and there will be something for you whether you have a regular writing practice or are just ready to dip your toe in the water.
I write stories (long and short), poems and creative nonfiction for adults and children and I’ll make sure there’s something in every session for every kind of creative writer. You can come to all three sessions (at a discounted rate!) or just to one – and there will be cake! To book, or for more information:
